The 'Drone4Build' project seeks to promote the digitisation of the construction sector by integrating the use of drones and improving the digital skills of professionals in the construction sector. Over two years, the consortium will develop an innovative training programme that will enable workers and trainers to apply this technology in renovation and energy efficiency projects, thus contributing to more sustainable and modern construction.
The main activities include the creation of a strategic roadmap on drone skills, the development of a blended learning programme, the implementation of an open learning platform, and the conduct of pilot tests and training workshops for trainers in several European countries.
The main themes of the project are digitalisation in construction, the development of professional skills in the use of drones, and the adaptation of vocational training to the new demands of the labour market resulting from the digital and ecological transition.
Main results
- Strategic roadmap and European framework of competencies in the use of drones applied to the construction sector, which will serve as a reference for defining the digital skills needed in this field.
- Innovative training programme ‘Drone4Build’, a blended learning course (face-to-face and online) focused on the use of drones for building rehabilitation and renovation, accompanied by teaching materials and an open learning platform.
- Train-the-trainer programme and creation of a professional profile for drone trainers, aimed at strengthening the capacities of teaching staff and ensuring the sustainability and expansion of the use of these technologies in vocational training.
